Paris Saint-Germain extended their unbeaten start to the Ligue 1 season to seven games, defeating Brest 1-0 at the Parc des Princes.
After Lionel Messi provided a high-class assist, Neymar moved the ball past Brest's goalkeeper Marco Bizot. Brest were hanging on with the half time whistle approaching, as the defending champions looked to press home their advantage. Kylian Mbappé found the net but the offside was declared by the referee.

In the second half, Presnel Kimpembe was penalised for fouling Noah Fadiga inside the penalty area. Islam Slimani stepped up to take the spot-kick, but the imposing Gianluigi Donnarumma made a superb save.
After the penalty was stopped, Michel der Zakarian’s men failed to create the necessary chances to get back into the contest.

For the defending champions of Ligue 1, a 16th consecutive league match without defeat returns Les Parisiens to the Ligue 1 top. In the next Round, PSG will face Olympique Lyonnais who go the 4th in the league.
